Shiraz Farooq, M.D.
General Surgeon
Dr. Farooq is a graduate of the Baqai Medical College at Aga Khan University
in Karachi, Pakistan. Dr. Farooq just recently completed six (6) years of
residency in general surgery at the State University of New York (SUNY)
at Buffalo, New York. During his tenure there he served as Chief Resident
of the General Surgical service as well as resident representative to the
Medical School Board. Additionally he specialized in Trauma/Critical Care
surgery while at the University of Rochester, New York.
Dr. Farooq and his wife Cristina reside in Coquille.
Dr. Farooq enjoys fishing, jogging, playing the guitar, reading and is
an amateur gourmet cook.
