Coquille Valley Hospital is currently seeking a Chief Financial Officer. The ideal candidate is a senior level healthcare finance professional that can provide both operational and programmatic support to the organization. The CFO supervises the finance function, including general and patient financial services department, and is the chief financial spokesperson for the organization.
Qualifications/Education:
The CFO reports directly to the CEO and assists on all strategic and tactical matters as they relate to budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs and the securing of new funding. Leads and oversees the analysis and reporting for governmental reimbursement programs (e.g. Medicare, Medicaid, etc.). Participates in the development of and implementation of financial policy, provides credible financial analyses, and guides decision making to preserve the financial position and performance of the organization. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or equivalent combination of education or experience is required. CPA is preferred. Surgical Technicians (2) (Casual On-call, all shifts)
Two years experience in general surgery, orthopedics and/or EENT. Ability to handle varied case load; one-third endoscopy. Understands sterilization techniques and utilizes such technique in all sterile procedures. Ability to work well under pressure. Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, physicians and patients. Possesses the ability to schedule surgical/medical procedures and collect patient data. Certified Surgical Technologist preferred but not required; RN, LPN or CNA accepted. Works under general supervision of Surgical Services Manager to assist in surgical operations under the direction of the surgeon and circulating nurses. Before an operation, surgical technologists help prepare the operating room by setting up surgical instruments and equipment, sterile drapes, and sterile solutions. Assemble both sterile and non-sterile equipment, as well as adjust and check it to ensure it is working properly. Prepare patients for surgery by washing, shaving, and disinfecting incision sites. Transport patients to the operating room, help position them on the operating table, and cover them with sterile surgical “drapes.” Observe patients’ vital signs, check charts, and assist the surgical team with putting on sterile gowns and gloves. During surgery, pass instruments and other sterile supplies to surgeons and surgeon assistants. May hold retractors, cut sutures, and help count sponges, needles, supplies, and instruments. Because of the demands for 24-hour operating room coverage, must be able to take call on a very flexible schedule. Must have 20-25 minute response time when called in.
