Meet Dr. Choudhary

Inspired by her father, who is also a physician, Dr. Kriti Choudhary always knew she wanted to be a doctor. As a child growing up in India, she would often get to shadow her dad with patients. Even today, she’s motivated by his motto: “The day that you feel that you’ve learned everything is the day that your downfall starts.”

A strong believer in collaboration, she considers medicine a team effort. She meets patients where they are in life and considers a variety of options when putting together a treatment plan.

Empathetic and open-minded, she makes sure her patients know they are welcome. “As a family medicine physician, I love seeing all age groups,” she says. “I see patients from birth through adulthood. I also have a soft spot for adolescent care, women’s health and LGBTQ care.”

Dr. Choudhary is passionate about innovation and is constantly striving to improve and grow as a doctor. She grew up in India and went to medical school at Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences in Rohtak, lndia. She also has a Master of Public Health from the University of Minnesota, where she completed her residency. After finishing her training in the Midwest, Dr. Choudhary moved to the Pacific Northwest and fell in love with the community of Coquille.

“The relationships that we build with patients here is much, much more in-depth and much, much more intimate, as far as it goes between here and a big city,” she says.

Outside of work, Dr. Choudhary is a classically trained singer. She loves exploring and hiking southern Oregon with her husband and also enjoys cooking.
