Meet Dr. Pradeep

Internist Jithu Pradeep, MD, develops long-lasting patient-provider relationships that go beyond the treatment of illnesses.

Warm and caring, Dr. Pradeep takes the time to get to know his patients by learning more about their everyday lives, so that he can better understand where patients are coming from and how best to provide preventive care and treatment.

“When a patient comes to see me, I’d like to hear what they have to say and what’s concerning them and what they are going through—not just the medical part—so that I will be able to help them in a more holistic way,” he says.

Dr. Pradeep earned his medical degree at Sree Uthradom Thirunal (SUT) Academy of Medical Sciences in Thiruvananthapuram, India. He completed his internship and residency at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College in New York.

As an internal medicine doctor, he provides long-term, comprehensive care, diagnosing and managing both common and complex illness in patients. He is trained in the essentials of primary care internal medicine, which incorporates an understanding of disease prevention, wellness, substance abuse, mental health and effective treatment of common problems of the eyes, ears, skin, nervous system and reproductive organs.

By creating meaningful bonds with patients, Dr. Pradeep builds trust and an open channel of communication that helps patients better understand and manage their personal health.
