Michelle Reyna, Chief Financial Officer

Always striving to improve the patient experience at Coquille Valley Hospital, Michelle Reyna believes the two most crucial elements of patient care are satisfaction and safety.

“I enjoy people, supporting them and helping them in any way I can,” Michelle says. “I will drop whatever I am doing to help someone with a problem or a question because that makes people feel important and valued.”

Motivated and collaborative, Michelle believes teamwork is the key to success and enjoys working with others to solve issues, streamline processes and positively contribute to the hospital and community.

“I hope that each patient that passes through our hospital or clinic has a positive experience and confidence in our staff that allows them to keep coming back,” she says.

A Coquille native, Michelle served our hospital as controller and assistant CFO, prior to being named CFO. Before joining Coquille Valley Hospital, she worked in Eugene as an accountant, tax auditor and accounting manager. Michelle graduated from the University of Oregon in Eugene in 1997 with a degree in accounting.

Active in the community, she participates on behalf of the hospital at the Coos County Fair and volunteers with The Bus Jam in Coquille to collect new toys, money and non-perishable food for Coos County.

Married to her high school sweetheart, Michelle loves spending time with her family and three dogs. She enjoys traveling, going to the beach, working in the yard and watching movies—especially those based on true stories or history.
